EMMIE'S FIRST TOOTH!

At 10 1/2 months Emmie has her first TWO teeth! It was a bit of a cranky weekend but we made it through with two pearly whites to show!

Miss Emmie is weighing in at 20 pounds 11 ounces and growing! We bought her first walking shoes today and she was very excited about that! She is cruising around furniture and ready to head out on her own!

About Private Parties

Petite Parties is a family operated business that specializes in small or 'petite' parties, with no more than 200 guests, for events such as Adult Birthdays, Holidays, Office Celebrations, Engagements, Retirement, Wedding and Baby Showers, and Happy Hours, Dinner Parties and much much more!

Here's how it works: I will walk with you every step of the way in your party planning, starting with menu selection from the custom Petite Parties recipes book. Hosting a themed affair? Leave decorations to us too! After all the shopping is done I write out a 'party plan'. This tells you things you can make ahead, prep to make your party day run more smoothly, etc. On the day of the party I arrive at your home to help you prepare your selected menu. Just like a teaching class in your own home! Then I leave you with a completed menu, set up, and ready to wow your guests and enjoy your party. If cooking is not your talent, then leave that to us as well. We can prepare your complete menu in your home or offsite and deliver. We also provide servers, bartenders, other hospitality staff based on your party needs.

Spring/Summer

Spring is an amazing time of year! Although in Texas it only lasts about two weeks. With summer upon us I would like to remind you of the services we offer and our ability to make your event something special.

I have put together some new spring menus that you can check out below. Remember that wedding season also comes with the summer months. I know planning bridal showers can be overwhelming for some. Let us handle your events details, from invitations to finishing touches.

When Spring and Summer comes it means time to pull out the BBQ pit again. What a hassle free way to entertain your guests! Let Petite Parties handle your shopping, food, and even ice cold beers. This outside casual party is no fuss, all fun for the host and their friends.

Throwing a Party – Where do I start?

Throwing a party can be overwhelming. Petite Parties is here to make it easier for you to throw more parties, more often. We have provided this guide to you as a starting point of how to best use our services. 1. Vision - Not everyone has a vision. If you don't that is ok. We have lot of ideas about decorations, food menus, drink menus, and themes. If you do have a vision, let us bring it to life! We want to throw you a party that you and your guests will enjoy. Example 1 : "I want to throw an elegant baby shower that the new mom will always remember." Example 2: "I want to throw a St. Patty's day party that no one will ever forget." 2. Budget - This is a touchy subject for some, but you need to begin thinking now about your budget. Come to the table with a ball park figure in mind. If you give us a number before we do an estimate for you we can do a much better job of maximizing your money for you. We do our best to keep our estimates very clear. We break out raw materials and consultant fees. This helps you see exactly what you are paying us for our time and to preserve yours. 3. Our commitment to Fresh Excellence - We never use processed or previously frozen foods. Everything Petite Parties produces is Laurent fresh. For this reason we do not have a menu that stays the same or can be emailed. We tailor eat menu to our clients needs and availability of the freshest possible ingredients due to season. 4. Time Value – You need to ask yourself how much your time is worth to you. You are not only paying for a service, but for extra time that you can use else where. We want to make the best use of this extra time for you. For example, we will gladly take care of your invitations. If you provide us with an address list we will buy the invitations, stamp, and mail them, even take R.S.V.P.s Keep this in mind when giving us your vision. If there is something that you would rather do yourself, just let us know. We can handle as many or as few details as you and your budget would like. 5. Deposit - When you hire us for social events/catering services we will ask for a non-refundable deposit of $50 to reserve your party date. This deposit will be applied to your end bill.
